Grandes Dames actresses Trixie and Evangeline have always accepted that it might occasionally be necessary to suffer for their art—but they draw the line at dying for it. As they scour the pubs, theatres and eccentric venues of London looking for a new play in which to star, they never suspect that a merciless killer is stalking them.
