A rom-com perfect for fans of Casey McQuiston's The Pairing! 'Such a beautiful and gentle romance. Recommended for any lover of sweet yet spicy mm romances' Reader review Could they be a perfect pairing? Julien Boire can't wait to get out of his small town. Soon he'll be leaving to take an advanced wine course that will put him on track to become a master sommelier. He can't let anything distract him, especially the hot new hire at his aunt and uncle's restaurant. It should be easy – Julien and TikTok mixologist Greg Harlow could not be more different. One thing they do have in common: neither wants a relationship. They agree to a no-strings sex pact. Nothing is off-limits. Except a future. It's exactly how Julien wants it. Except for the little part of him that wonders if maybe he's about to lose the kind of happy that could last much longer than an hour... Perfect for fans of: Workplace romance 🍷 Opposites attract ❤️ Spice 🌶️ Praise for Timothy Janovsky: 'Janovsky...has a real flair for delivering sensually descriptive love scenes with steam to spare and a gift for crafting characters with whom readers can readily connect.' Mark Sanderlin is a regular narrator for Timothy Janovsky's novels. His charming voice goes well with Janovsky's dry wit, and with the queer couple at the heart of this romantic comedy. Between studying for his sommelier courses and living with obsessive-compulsive disorder, the last thing Julien Boire needs is the distraction that mixologist Greg Harlowe presents. But what begins as a tense co-working relationship at Julien's family restaurant turns complicated when the two agree to a friends-with-benefits arrangement and soon can't imagine a future without each other. Sanderlin navigates the balance between humorous and heartwarming moments deftly with a narration that amplifies the novel's romantic tension. His tenderness when depicting Julien's and Greg's struggles with anxiety makes this audiobook stand out all the more. C.J.C. © AudioFile 2024, Portland, Maine
