Jess, Mel, Sam, Amber and Cara are lucky enough to be able to spend as much time as they can with their favourite ponies at Vicki's Riding School. Grooming, sweeping the yard, even mucking out is fun when you love ponies as much as they do.
It's half term and Mel and the girls are taking part in a competition - with a difference! This time they're going to compete with their ponies and dogs! Mel is determined to do well, but when her dad announces something unexpected, she's too distracted to practise properly. Will she be able to put her family problems out of her head and beat the snooty livery girls?
